Crisis Services for Washington County Residents
Crisis Service Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 9am – 1pm
General Information:
Trained volunteers meet with Washington County residents facing a crisis to offer encouragement, advice and referrals to other providers, as well as monetary assistance. Our primary focus is the prevention of homelessness which includes funding for eviction prevention, rent deposits and/or first month’s rent, utility deposits and other housing related needs. We also help those with little or no income secure birth certificates and identification cards when necessary for employment and/or services from other local agencies. Occasional assistance is provided for emergency prescriptions.
