Through the Open Table model Reach trains local congregations and their members to form communities called “Tables” that include a Brother or Sister in poverty referred by Reach. Table members transform their vocational and life experiences into tools our Brothers and Sisters can use to develop and implement plans that create change.
The Open Table process is a catalyst for the collaboration of faith communities, government, universities, business and non-profits working through a shared purpose model to move themselves and their communities from a transactional relationship with our Brothers and Sisters in poverty to one of transformation.
Reach is currently searching for volunteers for our next Open Table. This is a great opportunity to support a brother or sister and help lift him/her out of poverty. This is a wonderful experience for the brother/sister and all of the table participants.
