The Reach Executive Director partners with an active and engaged Board of Directors to shape and implement a strong strategic plan for this 28-year old nonprofit. Key among current strategic directions is the transition from a transactional crisis program to a housing-first, rapid rehousing model. To that end, the Reach of Washington County Executive Director is a key player in the local continuum of care and provides leadership to the Washington County Homeless Coalition. Reach recognizes that working to strengthen community partnerships with elected bodies and other helping agencies is key to maximizing financial and human potential.
The Executive Director develops a deep knowledge of Reach of Washington County programs, operations and business plans AND a corresponding knowledge of the Hagerstown/Washington County community. Our Cold Weather Shelter is a cooperatively guided expression of the faith community and typifies the relationship Reach and the Executive Director cultivate in our community. We aim to partner with worshipping bodies, other nonprofits and governmental bodies alike.
The specific ways the Executive Director plays roles in this strategic direction are more fully detailed in the Job Description where applicants will find directions on how to apply. A summary of Benefits is also available.
